ParkStash Expands Student Housing Parking Management Across 13 Scion Communities in Texas

ParkStash is expanding student-housing parking management across 13 Scion communities in eight Texas cities with digital permits, QR parking and payments, Entrata PMS synchronization, LPR enforcement, citations, towing documentation, and portfolio visibility.

ParkStash is expanding student-housing parking management across 13 communities in Texas operated by The Scion Group. The rollout supports student communities in Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, College Station, Denton, Fort Worth, Huntsville, and Waco with a connected approach to resident and visitor parking operations.

The Scion Group is the largest owner and operator of student-housing communities globally. Its official company overview reports more than $11 billion of assets under management.

In its June 2026 Student Quarters announcement, Scion stated: “Upon closing, the transaction will expand Scion’s national platform to 190 communities and nearly 118,000 beds across 94 university markets.” Those portfolio figures are therefore presented as the announced post-closing scale of the transaction.

Scion’s preceding Ares partnership announcement described a $910 million student-housing acquisition and called it “important milestones for Scion.” Together, the official announcements show the continued growth of Scion’s student-housing platform.

Parking operations built for student housing

Student communities need parking tools that keep pace with move-ins, visitor activity, enforcement, and portfolio oversight. At the portfolio level, analytics and reporting give operators a practical view of parking activity across communities. The rollout also supports teams that manage a broader mix of properties through ParkStash’s multifamily parking-management tools.
